The locket has an enameled black oval inlaid with seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. Around the oval there is an intricate enameled leaf design. The glass back of the locket is completely intact and originally held memorial hair, however a photo can easily be displayed. The locket measures 3 1/8 inch to the top of the bale and 1 1/4 inch at the widest point.
