In the center is an oval carnelian and set in the middle is an exquisite carved agate cameo portrait of a lovely young woman. The detail in the cameo is amazing. It acid tests 10K and has the flip up bale in the back so it can be worn either as a brooch or pendant. The gold frame has an ornate scroll design and in the top center are set three small accent pearls. The gold frame measures 1 3/8 inches at the widest point by 1 3/4 inches. The carnelian oval is 1 inch by 3/4 inch. This exceptional example of the Victorian Era is in excellent condition.
