Circa 1890 Antique Kralik Art Nouveau Vase In Metal Mount
This is a beautiful secessionist vase from the Art Nouveau Era. It was produced by Kralik, one of the major art glass houses during the Jugendstil period. It is a spectacular soft translucent frosted green with a slightly deeper raised lime green threaded design. This exceptional vase is fitted into the original metal holder and is removable. The vase measures 10 1/2 inches tall out of the holder and with holder 12 inches tall. The metal holder has a great patina that only comes with age and the vase is in excellent condition showing only very minor rubbing at the base where it has come in contact with the holder over years. The holder has a flowing naturalistic design that is indicative of the Art Nouveau Era.
