Circa 1890 Antique Rindskopf Art Nouveau Iridescent Bowl
We discovered this beautiful bowl while visiting Austria several years ago. It is Circa 1890 and was produced by Rindskopf in the Persica decor with a wonderful form and iridescent quality. The design folds over at the rim and each fold culminates with a fluted top, please refer to photos. The colors are a deep translucent gold separated by wavy iridescent stripes which creates a shimmering effect especially in the sunlight. It measures 8 ½ inches wide and 4 ½ inches at the tallest point with a smooth pontil on the base. It is in mint original condition. This is a fine example of quality art glass from an elegant bygone era.
