Circa 1890 Rindskopf Jugendstil Figural Cherub Vase

This is a very attractive Kralik Jugendstil period Art Glass Vase. It is Circa 1890 and is a beautiful iridescent trumpet vase that fits into a metal holder with a figural seated winged cherub on a footed cushion. The metal has the original gold finish and the trumpet vase has an iridescent finish that shimmers with shades of gold and lavender. The top of the vase flares out in a scalloped design. The vase is original to the base and fits into a basket section with a floral motif. The vase and holder measure 8 3/4 inches tall and are in excellent original condition. There is a small section toward the bottom of the vase where there is a small line of raised glass. This is not damage, this is in the making of the piece as it was all hand blown over 100 years ago, please refer to photos. This is a beautiful and enchanting example of quality craftsmanship from an elegant bygone era.
