Circa 1905 Loetz Tango Vase In Rare Metal Armature
This is a very unique and rare Loetz vase. The decor is Tango and was produced in 1905. It is a deep rich yellow with a black rim. What makes this vase rare is the magnificent Art Nouveau metal armature which encases the vase. It has three ornate claw feet at the base which supports the vase and extends from a bulbous base to a slender neck. It measures 10 inches tall and the metal armature is 6 inches at widest point. It is in perfect condition showing only normal wear to the patina of the armature. It is signed on the base Czecho-Slovakia. This vase is a beautiful work of art from the Jugendstil period.
