Dated 1893 Cut Glass Sterling Silver Dresser Box
This is a very beautiful example of the Art Nouveau Period. It is a beautiful lady's cut glass dresser box with a magnificent repousse sterling hinged collar and cover. The sterling cover has a very attractive scroll and floral raised design. In the center of the cover is a monogram with the date November 11th 1893. This is in excellent original condition and measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter across the bottom of the base and the sterling silver cover measures 5 1/4 inches in diameter with the box being 4 1/2 inches tall. It weighs almost 3 pounds. This is a quality example of an elegant bygone era.
