This is an exquisite example of fine jewelry from the 1920's Egyptian Revival Period. It acid tests 18K yellow gold. In the center of the round brooch is an enameled portrait of a beautiful Egyptian woman with flowing hair and an intricate head piece set with an accent rose cut diamond. It measures 1 inch in diameter. The background halfway up behind the figure is an incised rock wall design which accents the figure. This is in excellent original condition with the exception of a small slight indentation on the gold rim of the brooch, please refer to photos.
