Lady's Circa 1880 14K Prehnite & Spinel Earrings
This is a fabulous pair of Circa 1880 Victorian Earrings. They acid test 14K in yellow gold. There is an oval prehnite set in the top section of each earring with a larger pear shaped prehnite in the bottom section. There are two round Burmese spinel set in the top and bottom of the lower section. The bottom section has movement when worn creating a very dramatic appearance. The earrings measure 2 1/8th inch to the bottom spinel and 5/8ths inch at the widest lower part of the design. They each weigh approximately 7.68 grams and are in excellent condition. This is a rare pair of Victorian Era earrings from an elegant bygone era.
