Magnificent Circa 1900 Antique Enameled 14K Necklace
his is an absolutely beautiful Circa 1900 enameled necklace. The center piece is tear drop shaped gold with a three star raised design on the bottom. In the center is a round enameled on a cobalt blue field with a beautiful floral design in the center. The tear drop supports three hanging enameled tassles. Each tassle has a round enameled section that has the same floral design. What is truly amazing about this piece is that is enameled on both sides. On the opposite side is a floral design which is slightly different and instead of the three star design there is an ornate engraved design. This is very interesting because if you wear it in reverse you have two different looks to the same necklace. The chain has three stands with a very unusual link. It measures 18 inches long and the drop measures to the bottom of the tassle 2 ½ inches. The entire piece acid tests 14K. This is really a striking piece that definitely makes a statement.
