It is Circa 1890 and titled in the lower left hand corner, Indian Basket Maker at Saboba, California. It pictures a seated native American Indian woman weaving a basket in front of her thatched grass hut. To the right, on the ground appears a large clay pot. On the bottom of the image is the number 625, Indian Basket Maker at Saboba Ca. and to the right it is signed Maude Photo. The image measures 10" by 12" and is very nicely framed with museum glass which deters from fading. It has been professionally framed and is ready to display. This is a beautiful and rare image from an antique negative depicting Native American Heritage. One more interesting note to this image, there is a dog laying next to her while she weaves the basket.
