Very Rare Lady's Enameled Agate 9K Art Nouveau Earrings
This is a very rare museum quality pair of enameled and agate Art Nouveau earrings. They are Circa 1890 and acid test 9K which is indicative of jewelry from England during this period. They have an amazing look with an intricate design in the gold reminiscent of Egyptian jewelry. The enamel work is exquisite with the center sections which dangle in a coral color and the outside bottom sides in a deep golden brown inlaid agate and the bottom sections in an agate color that resembles mother-of-pearl. The earrings measure 1 3/4" long not including the hoop and 5/8" across the widest part of the design. Earrings of this quality and condition are rare finds. This elegant pair of Art Nouveau earrings are in excellent condition and an absolutely beautiful example of an elegant bygone era.
